Adopt Penny a Tan/Yellow/Fawn American Staffordshire Terrier / Australian Cattle

Penny is a 3 year old American Staffordshire/Australian Cattle dog mix. She has been spayed, is up to date on her shots, and has had rattlesnake training. Penny is a very sweet dog and I am sad to have to make the decision to rehome her, but she has been hurting my smaller, older dog making it unsafe for them to continue living together. Penny was 5 months old when I adopted her. She is house trained and knows how to use a dog door. She is a giant love bug and loves spending time with her humans, playing with her toys, taking naps, going for car rides, and enjoying dog treats. She likes walks and going to the dog park, but generally enjoys less strenuous activities. We have worked with a trainer and she walks very well on a leash. She can be shy and timid. She does well at the dog park with other dogs. She wants to guard the backyard, which has caused issues with my smaller dog. I think Penny would do best in a home where she is an only dog or with similar sized dogs.
