Rocky is a 8 year old Dachshund. Even though he's older he still acts like a puppy in that he is generally very hyper. When I first encountered this dog he had a strange behavior of licking the floor compulsively. Ever since we put him on prozac for anxiety this issue has improved dramatically. Regardless Rocky's main problem is that once he is given a little attention he goes ballistic and will attempt to lick your face off, so much so that it can be a lot. This is his way of showing affection. We are trying to rehome him with his best friend Max.
